The back is also detailed with numerous pintuck pleats. The sleeves extend the full length of the dress, creating a flowing effect. The top is connected at the midsection, giving the appearance of wearing a cape. Inside the dress, there is a lining, and crinoline is attached at the hem to help maintain its shape.
